CornelisJan Flowers has been cultivating a selective range of high-quality chrysanthemum varieties for over 30 years. These varieties come from breeder Dekker Chrysanten, known for their quality, uniformity, and excellent vase life.
At our new main location, with a cultivation area of 67,000 m², we grow the varieties Altaj (32,000 m²) and Resq (35,000 m²). Resq is available in multiple colors, allowing us to respond flexibly to market demand throughout the different seasons.
At a second location, we cultivate approximately 35,000 m² of chrysanthemums year-round, growing the varieties Euro White and Randall.
During the summer period, we additionally grow lisianthus on approximately 10,000 m² as a complementary seasonal product. In total, CornelisJan Flowers has a chrysanthemum cultivation area of approximately 100,000 m².
CornelisJan Flowers has its own transport service, ensuring that the flowers are delivered quickly and carefully to their destination.
With a team of 30 enthusiastic employees, we supply a high-quality product to various auctions on a daily basis. Direct sales to the wholesale trade are also among the possibilities.

Care
– Cut the flower stems at the bottom well cant off with a sharp knife. This allows the stems to absorb water optimally.
– Add any cutflower food (if available) to the water.
– Refresh the water every 5 days and cut a small piece of the stem. Check also the water level.
– Remove enough leaves from the bottom of the stalk, so that no leaves are hanging in the water. Leaves that hang in the water go rotten, causing bacteria in the water. This, of course, has a detrimental effect on the life of your bouquet.
– Don’t place the bouquet near to unnatural heat sources (such as a heating radiator or heater) and also not in direct sunlight (in summer).
– Don’t place the bouquet next to fruit (which is harmful to many cutflowers)
– Do not expose your bouquet to prolonged draft.
